With a rise in the number of telecommuting-users,
and the increasing trend of on-the-move business
executives, mobile technology solutions must
expand to meet these needs. The traditional
systems and solutions that are available to
general users and business staff cannot cater
to a mobile environment. The requirements
of such an environment start from the very
basic needs of communicating and go up to
advance mobility features of being connected
to intranets, internet, enterprise tools,
and other far-reaching commercial setups.

ADI’s
Wireless & Mobility solutions remove the
obstacles to successful wireless, mobile development
& deployment. Our solutions address key
concerns such as the lack of standards, scalability,
security, indeterminate costs, and integration
into an existing IT environment, thus helping
to realize the compelling business benefits
of this technology. The solutions that we
have executed fall under two broad categories
– Mobile Internet and Wireless Technologies.
Mobile internet systems involve integration
of web related functionalities on mobile devices
like cell phones and PDA’s. These functionalities
range from typical IM capabilities to more
complex enterprise connectivity solutions. |

The integration of mobile devices, the Internet
and wireless connectivity provides an exciting
opportunity for organizations to extend the
reach of their information and services to
mobile professionals. The potential results
include improved productivity, reduced operational
costs and increased customer satisfaction.
Here at ADI, we offer strong expertise
into a range of devices –cell phones,
smart phones, PDA’s coupled with connectivity
experiences with carrier technologies like
CDMA, GSM and GPRS and other 3G technologies.

EMS, SMS and VoIP.
ADI has successfully executed development
of mobile communication and messaging solutions
which have spanned technologies like Java

Entertainment over the air consists mainly
of content, services and applications. Content
refers to sending-receiving text or graphics
over the air; this may include stuff like
– static animations, ring tones, streaming
video and so on. The services front offers
simple things like joke-of-the-day, blogging
over the mobile device, to more complex services
like IM. Gaming forms the heart and soul of
the applications end.
ADI has been engaged in the development
and deployment of various over-the-air entertainment
solutions. These include simple SMS/MMS-based
systems and games to more complex solutions
and games developed on BREW, J2ME
and Symbian platforms. These solutions
are generally delivered over the air using
WAP and GPRS.
