Re-writing an Application Grows into
an ODC for Ruksun
Ruksun had to write an Internet based instant
messaging application that needed to be re-written
from C++ to Java. It was a three-tier system
where the lowest layer was a proprietary Distributed
Object Technology that works across platforms.
Ruksun successfully implemented the project
using RSA encryption algorithm. YSMN was not
only pleased with the work, they were impressed
enough to prolong the relationship with Ruksun
by awarding it an Offshore Development Center
(ODC) where a team of developers from Ruksun
became the extended IT arm of YSMN based offshore.
Of the many reasons for trusting Ruksun with
this ODC contract, the most significant was

"OK so I have just landed in Dusseldorf
Germany, picked up my rental car and found
the hotel...
Next I pull out my magic bag of international
connectors, plug the line checker into the
hole behind the table in the room, BINGO the
line is good.
Second I open Connect Force from Ruksun, enter
my userid and password for IBM.net and click
my way through the menus answering the simple
questions about where in the world I am, this
done, Connect Force creates a new "remote
networking" entry made to work RIGHT
HERE where I am.
So I connect the VELO to the line and dial.
BINGO connected on the first try, using a
local call, in a hotel I have never been to
before.
Simply put, I have never had a better experience
connecting while traveling with a computer.
Connect Force ROCKS!
I can not recommend this software enough for
anyone traveling with a WinCE device. Get

Delivers exactly as promised
One line summary: This is the business.
Odigo Messenger Force does exactly what is
says on the tin. It connects to Odigo, AOL,
ICQ & MSN. It does try to connect to Yahoo!
but, just like Yahoo!'s own client, there's
something about mobile access that Yahoo!
don't like; nor do they answer tech support
questions on the subject either. Shame 'cos
but this product is as good as Trillian, bearing
in mind it's a mobile application.
